You can’t talk about a Success Mindset and a Wealth Mindset without touching on the topic of the book Think And Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill. The first time I read the book it was many years ago when I first started my research on success, wealth and the mindset. It was actually a few years later that I picked it up again and read it several times and started applying some of the information.
I actually adopted the book as my companion to help with my Success and Wealth Mindset as I was planning, organizing and starting my first full time larger business (previous businesses have been smaller with only 1 or 2 employees) that involved many employees, 70,000 sq. ft. building, and lots of capital. I needed a positive attitude and Success Thinking more than ever during this undertaking. I read and reread parts of the book daily, and I listened to an audio copy in the car whenever I drove anywhere. That business started out with many people saying it can’t be done, but within a couple years I had the banks that turned me down a few years earlier knocking on my door. That business was an incredible success in a short time. I feel that Think and Grow Rich was responsible for me being able to achieve success and helped me become Wealth Minded. I actually went out and bought many copies on the book Think and Grow Rich and gave them to employees and friends.
There were things that were left unsaid in the book that you needed to find out for yourself. Certain parts of the book were actually used as metaphors and required some thinking on your own. But overall it is a great book to start on your quest for knowledge and building your own Success and Wealth Mindset. There has been a book written about the Hidden Secrets Of Think and Grow Rich that is very interesting and great read. I think it is a great one to read after you read the original Wealth Minded primer. You can take a look at “The Hidden Secret in Think and Grow Rich” here.
