Be Wealth Minded

Does It Matter

Have you ever asked yourself that question? Does it matter? You get those days when you feel like you have have been working your butt off and you are not seeing the results you expect. Everybody has those days. You are not sure why, but you just get up in the morning and you are not fully of energy and you have a less than positive attitude or a success mind.

Then You Ask Does It Matter?

You start wondering if you are making any real progress or if you are doing the right things. You begin to wonder if you have made the right choices. Then you start thinking “what if“….the dreaded “What If“. What if I this or what if I that and your thinking is spiraling out of control. Your mind is reeling and you are no longer in control of your thoughts. Has this happened to you? I am sure it has, it has happened to everyone at times. Don’t stress out….It is only a test. Yes, a test. You won’t know it is a test, but it is only a test. It is another roadblock or stumbling point on your way to success. A test that separates the people that are serious about success. These tests along your path to success and having a success mindset are normal. They have a natural way of weeding out the ones that are not serious about success. The ones that talk a good talk, but when it comes to doing they just can’t cut the mustard.

Why Does It Matter?

If you think about it with a logical mind it makes sense to have a way to weed out those that are not willing to do what they need to do to achieve success. If there weren’t any tests or ways to thin out those that want success everyone would be a success and then it wouldn’t be an achievement. These natural tests on the path of  your success process are a good thing if you understand the reason for them.

Not Does It Matter – It Does Matter

Now that you understand that these “Does It Matter” tests, the next time that you have one of those days when you are being tested you have to say it does matter. You need to answer your questions with “It Does Matter”, “I am doing the right thing”, “I have made the right choices and I will succeed”. Easier said than done sometimes. But do it anyway, say it to yourself. Say “I will succeed”, “I will do whatever I have to do to succeed and this is only a test”. If you can’t get your head turned around then take the day off. Do something to take your mind off your daily activities of achieving success. It is OK to take a break. Sometimes you can get back on track in a few hours or sometimes it takes a whole day of diversions. Whatever it takes whether it is a day or two or a few hours it is alright. You should not feel guilty about taking a day off from your success achieving activities. It is only a well deserved break to regroup your thoughts and get energized. If you take the day off and get back to work tomorrow it is only a break, but if you take the day off and the next day and the next day and more you have given up. That is not a break, that is failure. Failure is an excuse. There is no sense giving up and failing when you are being tested. Remember it is only a TEST!
