When it comes right down to it, everything is about choices. So you must ask yourself if you are making success choices or are you making comfort choices. If you think about it for a minute, where you are today is a product of the choices you made the day before, the month before, the year before…you get the idea. No excuses about it, forget about I had to do this or I had to do that. Your choices whether they were good, bad or success choices have created the success you are currently experiencing.
Yes, it’s a hard fact to swallow, but it’s the truth and one that most people don’t want to accept. Success is a choice, that’s right and you are the one that chooses success. Everyone has limitations of some kind, but accepting something as a limitation is also a choice. Success choices are usually not the easiest ones to make because they involve money, time or both. They may consist or working rather than playing or getting up early rather than sleeping in, but they are still your choices.
Success Choices are Hard to Make
During the course of your week you probably make hundreds of decisions and choices about what to do with your time, money and your mind. With each choice do you ask yourself what is the best choice for supporting your goals and dreams or do you choose by deciding what would feel good now?
I am as guilty as the next person, we all want success now. However, as much as I hate to say it, the world doesn’t work that way. We need to make the hard choices that will move us toward our goals rather than away from our goals. Try to get yourself in the habit of asking yourself if the decision you are about to make will bring you one step, one minute, one dollar or one anything closer to your goal. When you answer that question honestly, your success choices should be easier to make.
Remember, if it was easy anyone could do it and then success would not be success as we know it and everyone would be average.
Success Choices Create Your Success
To achieve success you first need to make the decision to “Be a Success” and then get your success thinking inline with your success mindset. Ask yourself; “What is the best use on my time, money or resources right now” and then make a success choice. Adopt this habit of asking the hard questions before you make a choice and there is no telling how much sooner you will reach your goals. You be amazed how much closer you will be to achieving success after a month or a year. You can do it, Others have and You Can Too!
